Matthew’s B.A. in Business Management with a concentration in Accounting from Curry College led him to his role as a Senior Accountant for Carpionato Properties, one of New England’s prominent real estate development companies. Prior to that, he spent three years at Benchmark Assisted Living, a regional leader in senior living developments and four years at Insource Services, an expert financial, human resource and technology service provider. Above and beyond his background in all things financial, Matthew has a proven track record of successfully converting and/or implementing new internal systems within corporations, including Yardi Property Management, used daily by Saletin Real Estate Group.

After joining Saletin Real Estate Group in 2015, Matthew’s varied and extensive accounting experience elevated him to the role of Controller in 2020. As the company’s Controller, Matthew keeps a tight rein on the many nuances of property management accounting. His responsibilities are varied and his incredible ability to oversee the many moving parts of the company’s diverse portfolio continue to impress his colleagues, especially when it comes to lending a hand when needed. Matt’s detailed eye ensures budgets, reports, financial records, and accounts are precise and backed up with accurate history.
